The Emergency Medical Care Training Service currently operates a Schools First-Aid Program at Southfield Primary School in the London Borough of Ealing.
EMCTS has been running the Southfield Primary School First-Aid Club for 4 years now and runs 2 courses for children in years 2 to 6.
The two courses are Junior First Responder and Advanced Junior First Responder.
The total number of children to have undertaken the Junior First Responder Courses is 128, with 86 of them undertaking the Advanced Junior First Responder Course.
EMCTS is hoping to spread its Schools First-Aid Program to a number of other schools during the 2009 - 2010 Educational Year.
